A Boy of the Rising Sun Meets a Girl of the Never-Setting Sun is a love story based on the three principles of Japanese architecture & design. The story takes place in Vancouver, BC. The protagonist is a young architect from Osaka, Japan who meets a girl from Yakutsk, The Republic of Sakha. The story is partly inspired by real events and includes actual locations from all over Metro Vancouver. The project focuses on how urban design & architecture bring people together.
